Submission Guidelines

The Board of Editors at Lex Loci is delighted to extend an invitation for submissions to the Lex Loci Blog, welcoming original and unpublished contributions encompassing a wide array of formats such as articles, research pieces, opinions, case comments, and short notes. This call is open to academicians, authors, legal professionals, and students with a focus on contemporary subjects related to corporate laws.

Formatting Guidelines:-

  • Title: Times New Roman font size 14, All Caps, and in bold.
  • Body Text: Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, with a single line space between paragraphs.
  • Submission Format: Word format ('.doc' or '.docx'). The document should be renamed to the post's title, excluding personal details of the author(s).
  • Co-authorship: Up to two authors are allowed.
  • Anonymity: The document should not reveal author details to facilitate a double-blind review process.

Submission Requirements:-

  • Originality: All works must be original and unpublished, and any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification.
  • Word Limit: Manuscripts should not exceed 2000 words; longer posts may be considered and published in parts upon editorial discretion.
  • References: Hyperlinks are preferred for all references in the body, with endnotes recommended if hyperlinks are unavailable.
  • No speaking endnotes or footnotes are allowed

Review Process:-

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo a thorough double-blind peer review process.
  • Review Timeline: The review process may take up to 20 days, with efforts to respond within a week.
  • Decision Notification: The Board directly communicates acceptance or rejection, providing feedback if necessary.
  • Revision and Cooperation: Authors selected for publication are expected to revise in good faith and cooperate with minor editorial changes.
  • Exclusive Publication: Submissions must not be sent to other platforms during the review process, and the Blog accepts exclusive publications.

Copyright and Moral Rights:-

  • Copyright: Upon final acceptance, the Blog retains copyright, while moral rights remain with the author(s).
  • Exclusivity: Manuscripts published elsewhere will not be accepted.
