“Lloyd has provided me with the exposure of not just the National avenues in the field
of law but of the International ones also. I got to interact with and assist the students and eminent personalities of SAARC Nationals while organising the Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC LAW Mooting Competition. Then I got the wonderful opportunity to represent College and Nation in the ALSA International Moot Court Competition 2019 at Bankok, Thailand."

“Lloyd Mental Health Society intends not letting people continue to
suffer what I suffered some time ago. With none of my peers aware of it, it was tough for me. I had the financial resources to seek help from a psychologist and then a psychiatrist. I got lucky, but had people been aware of Mental Health, it would’ve been a little easier for me. This society was thus founded with the sole purpose of making Lloyd a Mental Health friendly place. Sessions were held for all about destigmatizing mental health, and the support that this society has gotten over time has left me overwhelmed. Even though I pass out this year, I have envisioned to bring radical change in the mindsets of people through this initiative, and I hope to achieve it through Lloyd and its students."

"The mooting culture of Lloyd is very different from others institutes across
the country. Moots are allocated to students from the very first year of the law school and all the required help like reading resources, mentors and financial support is provided to them. Also mooting is seen as an opportunity to help students to learn and not just to win. This is the biggest reason behind the success of the college in the area of mooting."

towards understanding of law. It requires a proper guidance from college days itself. Lloyd Judicial Services Preparation Cell is the place where I got this guidance. It is one of unique cell started by Lloyd to train its students who wants to pursue their career in judicial services. I am a part of this cell since 2017. This cell has not only helped me in understanding the basics of law but also to understand the proper strategy for my preparation. I am very thankful to my college for this innovative idea."

I remember, a team of three members with me went to a national Moot Competition. Two of our partners fell sick so could not prepare well and thought to withdraw from the competition. However, our faculty helped, motivated and encouraged us to give our best to this competition. Then, we attained among top 05 positions, Awarded Best Judgement writing competition and Best Memorial Award."

any barriers and let me seek opportunities outside the ambit of law, and law school is what worked. Had I not gotten the push and the time to let me experiment with my passion, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I began Lloyd Mental Health Society, I am proud to be an advocate of Mental Health in my law school, and out of all this – confidence, tenacity, and resilience is what I take with me as I pass out of Lloyd."

I’m a firm believer that you get out of college what you put into it. Yes, Lloyd College has helped me in finding passions I never knew I had. Lloyd has made me feel that Learning is so much about fun and ease as of the time of getting achievements in mooting, debating & researching which headed me to represent India, in Paris! Apart from the academics, Lloyd has served me well to feel that everything is about the possibility, which allowed me to invest myself in extra curriculums being a Manuscript Editor, Moderator, Legal Blogger, etc. THANK YOU, LLOYD!"

“From heading CLEA Regional Conference and National Law
Day to Trial Advocacy, I got enormous opportunities at Lloyd to build my self-confidence and to reflect and inculcate my views and strategies in these initiatives. In Lloyd I learnt legal practice with academics at the same time. Dr. Vikram, Prof. GK Jha and Prof. Ahsan are the ones under whom guidance I could get my papers published in reputed journals and Prof. Rupesh is one who always appreciated my contribution to the Trial Cell. Director and Deputy Director always encouraged me and gave the green signal for everything I proposed. I believe it is the faculties at Lloyd including Adv. Shriya with whom I discussed my strengths and weaknesses at crucial times who always helped me with a smile.”
