In India, a passport is valid for ten years. If someone wishes to continue enjoying their passport's benefits, they must renew it either before the 10-year expiration date or shortly after it does. It is common for a passport to be recognized as proof of age, residency, and identity. A passport is an essential document as people use them so frequently in their lifetimes.
