The CUET exam syllabus for various domain courses is published in PDF format by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must select a specific area or subject that corresponds to the intended course in order to be admitted through the CUET exam. All colleges that offer BALLB programs through CUET typically need applicants to select between Hindi and English for Section I and Legal Studies for Section II. Several colleges and universities offering BALLB programs, the General Test is still optional in CUET.

The CUET 2024 pattern states that there will be 3 portions in the exam. Reading comprehension passage questions will be used to assess applicants' language proficiency in the first section. The subject chosen will determine the second part of the CUET exam pattern, while GK, mathematics, current events, and logical and analytical reasoning will make up the third part. The exam structure is shown in the table below.
