The Consortium has released the official CLAT 2025 schedule, which includes test and application dates. Students have until October 15, 2024, to complete the standard application form for all participating NLUs. The CLAT exam is going to be held on December 1, 2024.
The Consortium of nationwide legal Universities (NLUs) administers the CLAT, a nationwide entrance examination, to candidates for legal studies in India. There are 24 NLUs accepting CLAT score card. CLAT 2025 Event Highlights

CLAT 2025 Application Process
On July 15, 2024, the Consortium issued the CLAT Application Form 2025. It is important for candidates to be aware that the CLAT 2025 application form is now available on the Consortium of Nlus.ac.in, the official website of NLU. Until October 15, 2024, candidates may complete the CLAT 2025 Application form. The CLAT 2025 application form correction can be made after the announcement by Consortium.

- Keep your payment information readily available (Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking);
- Keep all your academic certificates and degrees available
Steps to fill CLAT 2025 Application Form
Candidates who are interested in applying for the CLAT 2025 Applicants can fill out the CLAT application form details correctly. However, we have provided all the necessary information to apply for the CLAT 2025 application form below:
Step 1 – Make CLAT Registration
- Open the CLAT Consortium official website, then hit on the ‘CLICK HERE’ message to open the application window
- Candidates are required to open the login form by clicking on ‘Don’t have an account? Register’ button
- Now, candidates must fill details such as name, mobile number and password to make the registration.
Note: The password should be a strong password comprising of at least one numerical, one symbol, one number, an uppercase and a lower case alphabet and should be a minimum of 8 characters.
Step 2 - Account Activation
- Once candidates are finished with the above instructions, they are required to click on the ‘Register’ button and active the CLAT login account using that OTP.
- Now, login using registered mobile number and password.
Step 3 – Fill the application form
After the above steps, candidates are required to enter the asked details of the CLAT 2025 application form. Candidates are required to fill some important details such as –
Upload photograph and signature – Scan and upload the latest photo and a scanned signature. The photo should be clear and the scanned copy of signature should be uploaded in the jpg or jpeg format.
Fill up the form – Now, candidates must enter the details of the application form such as applicant’s name (as per the class 10+2 mark sheet), gender, date or birth (MM/DD/YY) format, father’s name, mother’s name, and nationality.
Select Category – After this, select the candidate’s category (General/ OBC/ SC/ ST). If candidates select other category than GEN then they are required to upload their supporting document in PFD format which should not exceed to 1.5 MB.
Check the box if belonging to BPL or PWD category – If candidates fall under BPL or PWD category then they are required to provide supporting documents and should be uploaded in the PDF format and size should be below 1.5 MB.
Address/communication details – The next step is to provide details of communication by providing the following –
- Correspondence address
- Select District and State/ UT
- Enter PIN code of your area
- Enter Permanent Address.
- Enter mobile number and email ID
Provide educational details – This section allows you to fill the details of your previous academics such as –
- Qualifying examination
- Status of qualifying examination, i.e. whether appearing, appeared or passed
- Board/ University
- Enter the passing year of the examination
- Qualifying marks/percentage
Test Centre Preference – Candidates are required to choose a minimum of three cities from the list of CLAT 2025 exam centres, in priority order.
College Preferences – Candidates must rank the NLUs in order of preference in this section.
Step 4 – Make fee payment
Now, make the fee payment of the CLAT 2025 application fee as the selected category.
- Go to dashboard and click on the ‘Make Payment’ button
- A pop up is shown on the device screen.
- Select the appropriate option and proceed further to complete the fee payment process.

Applicants should be aware that the application cost will contain extra bank fees of at least INR 50. Candidates can now download their dully filled CLAT 2025 application from the dashboard.
