Lloyd Law College, ever since its inception in 2003 has been
promoting research activities amongst the students and faculties. The Lloyd Law College
Research Centre was established with the purpose of creating a dedicated approach for
inculcating and undertaking research activities and also promoting research amongst the
students and faculties.
The Research Cell has been established with the following
objectives:
1. Ability to conduct effective legal research is a must for all
law graduates irrespective of the careers they pursue after graduation.
2. The Research Cell proposes to ensure that all the law students
irrespective of their year of study are equipped with adequate research skills by
providing them with the ability to locate, evaluate and use the needed information.
3. The Cell also proposes to identify and invite students and
teachers who have passion for research, to join the Cell and encourage them in pursuing
serious research work.
4. It shall be the endeavour of the Research Cell to promote
research and scholarships in various fields of law and come up with leading research
publications and undertake research projects on contemporary socio- legal issues.
