Facilities
Lloyd Law College, ever since its inception in 2003, has been promoting various facilities to nurture our students and imbibing them with a thirst for knowledge rooted in the values of integrity, equality and professionalism. Llyodians are trained for various Competitions at national and International level with the objective to encourage interaction and reciprocity of ideas amongst law students of SAARC countries for promotion of regional cooperation, mutual benefit in legal education and to broaden the horizons of legal studies. Our faculty is always approachable for students during and after their course of study. Our campus provides a ragging free and inclusive environment and we immensely focus on making our students a diverse group of socially conscious law graduates, rooted in the concepts of justice and equity.
The College is continuously striving to achieve excellence and has been recognised through numerous reputable awards and collaborations. The students across all semesters in B.A LL.B and LL.B programs with varied career choices are trained to undertake research projects on contemporary socio-legal issues. An extensive law library with electronic databases is one of the key characteristics of the College. All classrooms are ICT equipped and the college provides two moot court halls, e-innovation Garage, conference halls etc. The whole college is connected under a Wi-Fi network system.
Our College focuses on the importance of Legal Aid and Awareness Campaigns as a mechanism for social progress that has been repeatedly stressed upon by the Government of India also. The Legal Aid Centre provides much needed legal advice and support for those who are in need. Sports and extracurricular activities are an integral part for the overall development of students and prepare them to brace for their future skillfully. To bring out the holistic development of students, Lloyd Law College pays equal attention to academics and sports and organises an annual sports meet every year named as ‘Umang’. Our College is a true emblem of diversity as students come from different parts of India and each student brings along a piece of culture, which we fervently celebrate in our campus. Topaz was one of the recent dramas staged by our students, which has received many accolades. The students are currently in tech workshop of a new play Chori Kamali.
